Pastor, I have a question. On Sunday you was talking about the rapture where does our so what happens to our soul after we die before the rapture?

2 Corinthians 5:6-8 (KJV)

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Our soul goes immediately into the presence of God. The Bible says, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-16 (KJV)

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

So, at the moment of the rapture Christ will bring our souls with Him, He will call our bodies from the grave and our souls and bodies will be reunited in the air.

Hope that helps!
